May weekend

In Poland, we have some free days at the beginning of the May. May the 1st is a free day, then May the 2nd is Flag holiday, and May the 3rd is the holiday of st. Mary the Quin of Poland. So usually it means that we have a week-long holiday when w can go somewhere.

First day

This year we choose to visit Polish mountains. Our journey started with visiting Książ castle and I don't recommend that. It was very expensive and there's nothing interesting inside, just many shops with souvenirs. The only interesting thing was bonsai tree exhibition that took place there at that time.

Then things got much better - we hiked in Radkowskie skały. It's the place in Stołowe Mountains - great views, interesting rock formations and the very best thing, which is time to reconnect with friends, to talk with them and just have fun enjoying the beauty of nature in the mountains.

We climbed rocks and took some nice selfies (as you can see 😃). It was great and I hope that we will have more adventures like this in near future.

Second Day

We also stayed late at night talking and playing games.
Next day was all about hiking. We saw the view from Božanovský Špičá and then we went to Pasterka, where I drunk delicious coffee. It was a long hike - 21km (28364 steps) and it ended well with the mass in Wierzenica church.
After that, we came back to our hotel.

Third Day

This day was interesting to me. First of all, I took the more important role in choosing where we should go than in previous days. We went through Pstrążna to Błędne Skały and the back to the car in Kudowa Zdrój. Błędne Skały is the place with rock formations, caves, labyrinths and some narrow paths. Unfortunately, you cant climb there. 😕 At this day also I had some problems with my boots and I think that the fact that I usually spend my whole day in front of the computer without any sports started to pay off. After that, I was exhausted but still happy. At this day we had two nice breaks during which we sat on the grass and we ate chocolate enjoying the view. We ended the day by walking down to Skull Chapel and in the church next to it we went to mass.
